“Music is the greatest proof of God for me”.
The contemporary composer Heinz Winbeck (1946-2019) lived in the Bavarian town of Schambach near Riedenburg. In 2020, the edition of his five symphonies received the Opus Klassik. His complete works include vocal compositions, orchestral works and chamber music. In Würzburg he held a professorship for composition. His work is recognized with several honors and awards.
